| Shanon is an artist and graphic designer based in Monaseed, County Wexford. She studied art and graphic design at Mansfield Art College in the UK, then worked in London, Dublin and Wicklow before settling into her rural studio in Wexford. She is a member of Visual Artists Ireland. Her mixed media works combine painting and printmaking. Shanon is inspired by landscape and the seasons - particularly hedgerows and field margins, and the plants and animals they contain. The rabbit - coinín in Irish - is a symbol of abundance, prosperity and good fortune. |
